Cancel or Void Transaction

Remove an in-progress sale cleanly so the register and reporting stay accurate.

Before You Start

Confirm you are signed in with the correct permissions and that the customer, ticket, or supplier record you need is open before making changes.

Quick Steps

  1. Open the active ticket you want to cancel and make sure no final payment has been accepted.
  2. Choose the cancel or void action from the register controls.
  3. Review any prompts for manager approval, reason codes, or confirmation before proceeding.
  4. Confirm the transaction has been removed from the register view and no balance remains due.
  5. If the sale had already been tendered, use the refund workflow instead of a simple void.
