Change Shift

Close one cashier session and hand the register to the next operator without losing accountability.

Before You Start

Confirm you are signed in with the correct permissions and that the customer, ticket, or supplier record you need is open before making changes.

Quick Steps

  1. Make sure the current cashier has completed or parked any active tickets.
  2. Open the shift management menu and choose the shift change option.
  3. Count the drawer if prompted and verify the ending cash amount for the outgoing shift.
  4. Sign out the current cashier and sign in the next cashier with the correct permissions.
  5. Confirm the new shift is active before accepting the next sale.
